• Doğan Ofset was established under the name Vatan Newspaper

• Hürriyet Newspaper began publishing.

• Milliyet Newspaper began publishing.

1979
• Aydın Doğan became the owner of Milliyet Newspaper.

1988
• Hürriyet Magazine Group was incorporated into Hürriyet Holding.

1992
• ANS International Turkey Production company was established.
• Yaysat, the most widely spread print media distribution organization in Turkey, was established.

1993
• Kanal D was established.
• Radio D was incorporated into Kanal D under the name Radio Kulübü.

1994
• Doğan Group acquired Hürriyet Holding.
• Doğan Egmont began trial broadcasting under the umbrella of AD Publishing.

1995
• Posta Newspaper began publishing.
• Fanatik Newspaper began publishing.

1996
• Aydın Doğan Foundation was established.
• Radikal Newspaper began publishing.
• Milliyet Newspaper began publishing on-line
• Doğan Printing Center was established in Trabzon.
• Financial Forum Newspaper began publishing.
• Doğan Egmont began publishing.

1997
• D&R opened its first store in Erenköy, İstanbul.
• Ankara and İzmir DPC were established.

1998
• Doğan Medya Group became partner of ANS International Turkey.
• Doğan Yayın Holding became operational.
• Doğan Printing Center was established in Adana and Antalya.
• Aydın Doğan Communications and Media Vocational School was founded.

1999
• Doğan Ofset was relocated to its current facilities in Hadımköy.
• Doğan Books was established by incorporating Milliyet, Karacan, Simavi Publishing, Aydın Books, AD Publishing, AD Books, Golden Horn, Bosphorus and Khalkedon Publishing.
• Doğan Factoring was established to provide services regarding the collection of advertisement revenues and other commercial receivables of DYH companies.
• Doğan Medya Group Publication Council was established.
• Hürriyet and Milliyet news agencies merged and took the name Doğan News Agency.
• Hürriyet and Milliyet Magazine Groups merged and took the name Doğan Burda Rizzoli (DBR) due to the presence of a foreign partner. Doğan Burda began operation.
• CNN Türk began broadcasting.
• Doğan Music Company (DMC) was established

2000
• Yenibiriş began broadcasting.
• Turkish Daily News was incorporated into the Group.

2002
• Magazine Marketing, Planning and Commerce A.Ş. (DPP) became operational.

2003
• CNN Türk Radio began broadcasting.
• Simge Publishing and Milliyet Newspaper merged under the name Doğan Newspaper.
• Doğan TV Centre building became operational and all TV, Radio and Production companies of the Group were relocated here.

2004
• Financial Forum took the name Referans Newspaper.

2005
• Yenibiriş became an independent agency.
• www.arabam.com was launched.
• www.gezisitesi.com was launched.
• ANS continued under the name D Productions.
• Star TV joined Doğan Yayın Holding.
• Radio Foreks continued broadcasting under the name SlowTürk.

2006
• Hürriyet Property and Milliyet Property websites were launched.
• D Plus, D Max, D Yeşilçam, D Çocuk, Moviesmart, D Spor …began broadcasting.

2007
• Kanal D Romania began broadcasting.
• D-Smart Digital Platform became operational.
• Trader Media East joined Doğan Group.
• Radio Moda was acquired by Doğan Group.

• Vatan Newspaper joined Doğan Yayın Holding.

2009
• Hürriyet Max, Tipeex.com and Hürriyetkıyasla.com were launched within the Hürriyet Internet Group.
